Founded in 2024 for the league’s first season, the team is owned by MAD Dream Sports, captained by Sandeep Lamichhane, and coached by Kevin O’Brien. The franchise was acquired for NPR 1.51 crore (around USD 110,000) during the bidding process organized by the Cricket Association of Nepal. The team’s logo features a shield with a mountain peak, symbolizing the region’s beauty and resilience, with “BIRATNAGAR” and “KINGS” prominently displayed, a golden crown representing royalty, and yellow and blue colors reflecting strength and prestige.
